Can I generate an automatic list of each day's attendees from that list? At present I have to type every name onto the list separately. Hi Miss Green, I would try to break the in to 3 groups with a commonality. Using 3 roster sheets would be easier.

Hi Anne-Marie, I think that you might be hiding the worksheets not the worksheet tabs. If you are hiding the worksheets then the hyperlink will not unhide them for you. You can hide the worksheet tabs by going to file and then options and un-tick in the box for them. Please accept my very best wishes Trevor.

I am trying to input the formula to populate the drop down boxes with shift codes, but I keep getting an error message when inputting the formula. I have copied this exactly from the tutorial, and just changed the values to reflect the slight differences in layout my lists page is two rows lower on the page, and I put the date in E7 on the front page, so have changed the shift type box to E6.
I am using a Mac, so not sure if that makes a difference? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hi Cath, Using the Mac could be the problem. Try changing Lists! Here is a tutorial that should help. Have tried that too with no success, luckily we don't have too many shift types to choose from so have just simplified the roster sheet to do a drop down for all shift codes. I intend to duplicate this workbook for the other kitchens. Thereafter, I am hoping that I can extract only the head chefs' shift from the various outlets from these sheets and consolidate the date into a workbook for an overview of which managers are on the floor.
Do you have any suggestions? The reason for not putting all the kitchens' rosters into one workbook is because the workbook can't be opened by various people at the same time.
Hi Meridith, You can share a workbook so multiple users can access at the same time. Works best if:. Each dept has there our worksheet 2. Changes are not tracked.
